Independent Banker magazine, in partnership with Avannis, collected nominations for the inaugural Best Community Banks to Work For Awards (2019). Once nominated, community banks were eligible to compete for the recognition when 40% or more of their employees completed an anonymous workplace survey.

Nearly 2,700 employees completed the survey, offering statistically significant, valuable benchmarks to any community bank.
